The SoCal purveyors of punk continue with their bristling brand of dissent with their 16th studio album. Produced by the band and Joe Barresi, “True North” features songs of alienation and loss, including current single, the title track, which Greg Graffin said is about being “a disaffected kid in this world.” Guitarist Brett Gurewitz adds that the band returned to its “original mission” with “True North,” by writing “short concise bursts of melody and thought.”
