The veteran N.J. indie act have been dishing out low-key, hummable hooks for nearly three decades now, and have never released a bad album. "Fade," produced by Tortoise’s John McIntire, is their first studio release in four years. Lead single "Stupid Things" hints at the sonic textures of their best album, 1997's "I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One," and various editions of "Fade" include multiple bonus tracks to make up for lost time.
