Green Lantern

Previous incarnations: "Green Lantern" (2011), "Green Lantern: First Flight" (Video, 2009), "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" (Video, 2011)
Movies or TV: Movies
Why: There were many reasons why "Green Lantern" didn't work as a movie.  Most of it had to do with the script, producers and director.  The character still has cross-generational appeal, though.  The question is how long will we have to wait until Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment give it another go?  Before "Green Lantern" crashed and burned in theaters it was the biggest selling comic book in the nation. Now it barely cracks the top ten. Do we need a "Justice League" movie to make the Emerald Crusader work on the big screen?
