The Punisher

Previous Incarnations: "The Punisher" (1989), "The Punisher" (2004), "The Punisher: War Zone" (2008)
Movies or TV: It seems more like a movie idea, but after three failed attempts, maybe a gritty TV series could work better.
Why: After three films -- ranging from pretty bad to really bad -- the chances that a studio will take another shot at Frank Castle are slim to none, which is kind of a shame since the brutal Marvel vigilante has been the star of dozens of classic comic storylines and is a nice antidote to the brighter, more family-friendly heroes like Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four or even The Avengers.
