Good lord, why isn't Anthony Mackie a bigger star yet?  Th talented 32-year-old has been on the brink of major fame for quite a few years now, and yet he continues to be cast in second-banana roles opposite (sorry, but) lily-white movie stars like Matt Damon ("The Adjustment Bureau") , Hugh Jackman ("Real Steel") and Sam Worthington ("Man on a Ledge"), possibly one of the dullest silver-screen presences currently gracing (?) our local multiplexes. But not only is Mackie supremely capable as a performer, he has an arrestingly sexy and intelligent screen presence that would make a perfect fit for the brilliant and mysterious Marvel superhero. And, oh yeah, he deserves it too.
