Though it may not come as too much of a surprise when the classically-trained Shakespearean actor nailed his critically-acclaimed directorial debut "Henry V" - which garnered him Oscar nods for both Best Actor and Best Director - his later success with non-Shakespeare adaptations, most notably "Dead Again" and, especially, last year's Marvel superhero blockbuster "Thor," left little doubt that Branagh's talents were applicable to a far-wider range of genres than previously suspected.
