Can DC really get a 'Justice League' off the ground?
Financially, they can't afford not to make a "Justice League" movie, but creatively, it still feels like they're a long way from cracking it. There is not greater portfolio of creative source material currently going un-utilized, and it sounds like they are feeling the pressure. Warner's new CEO Kevin Tsujihara has been in place since March and he's still working to define his era at the studio. Fans are overwhelmingly asking for a "Wonder Woman" film, but considering how many times they've taken a run at the script and how talented many talented writers have already been thrown at the character, it's obvious that wanting to get something done isn't enough. The most important thing Tsujihara has to do is this, even with JK Rowling coming back to help kick-start a "Harry Potter" spinoff series. After all, we know Rowling will deliver, but until we see Warner Bros. successfully make a movie featuring any character other than Superman and Batman, there's no guarantee they'll get it done.
