Why: Was it four years too late or four years too early? The over-the-top comedy somehow managed to channel the spirit of the Archie Comics and featured absolutely hilarious performances by good buddies Parker Posey and Alan Cumming. Unfortunately, it was a massive bomb (hence the wrong timing) and effectively ended Rachael Leigh Cook's career as a leading lady.  Thankfully, the years have been kind to "Josie" and her friends as its become something of a cult favorite.
