10 things we learned from the new 'Star Trek Into Darkness' preview
Just who is Benedict Cumberbatch playing?
Future San Francisco looks an awful lot like the Century Park complex in Century City
The "Star Trek" production had fun using Cal State Northridge as the "future" home of Star Fleet Academy or Star Fleet (we never were quite sure), but it appears "Into Darkness" just can't break away from its SoCal aesthetic. A shot in the new "Darkness" preview meant to be futuristic San Francisco is clearly the Century Park complex in Century City. In fact, you can see a huge chunk of one of the Century Plaza Towers in the shot and an explosion or destruction hitting the building that holds none other than Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Sending a subtle message J.J.?
