"You think your world is safe - it's an illusion," warns Benedict Cumberbatch in the teaser's opening voiceover. It's a line that eerily recalls pronouncements by Al Qaeda following the 9/11 attacks, and with shots of fighter jets speeding over cities and skyscrapers exploding around the ears of screaming civilians, it's clear Cumberbatch's still-unnamed villain has mass destruction on his mind.
