Pepper knows dating Tony Stark is dangerous, but it looks like she's going to be put through the ringer in "Iron Man 3."  One scene shows her being attacked by Iron Man armor (either sentient or being worn by someone else) while Stark sleeps besides her.  The other finds her either being tortured or in some sort of painful medical apparatus.  Oh, and the preview finds her being thrown across Stark's mansion when it's attacked, too.  Yikes.
