10 Comic-Con 2012 surprises we're hoping for
Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment announce what's next
After the mammoth success of "Captain America," "Thor" and, most importantly, "The Avengers" Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have realized they need to take this whole super-hero thing a tad more seriously than they have previously. Sure, you've got Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" wrapping up next week and "Man of Steel" on the way, but after the creative disaster of "Green Lantern" they need to get their non-Superman and Batman ducks in a row. Therefore, with a two-hour panel currently scheduled for Saturday afternoon, it wouldn't surprise us if they used the extremely publicity opportunity to announce what's next for the DC heroes on the big screen. Does that mean a director for "Justice League"? (There is already a screenwriter on board). Or, perhaps a surprise announcement moving forward with the long dormant "Flash" movie? Or, god help us, "Green Lantern 2"? We're oh so curious.
