Jodie Foster will likely make 'Money Monster' her next directing gig

The two-time Oscar-winning actress doesn't behind get the camera very often. She's only directed three films -- "Little Man Tate," "Home For the Holidays" and "The Beaver" -- in nearly twenty years. 

Foster is attached to direct "Money Monster," according to EW, 

"Money Monster" centers on the Lee Gates, the host of a TV show which gives financial advice to viewers. After he gives a bad tip, a wrathful, bankrupt viewer storms the studio and takes Gates hostage on live television, driving the show to record ratings.

It's unknown if Foster will star in the film, or just direct. Likewise, no other cast members have yet been announced. scheduled to start shooting early next year.

Foster will next appear as an actress in the sci-fi thriller Elysium, out March 1, 2013.
