Samuel L. Jackson is willing to be heard on ABC's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.'
Since ABC and Joss Whedon announced they were moving forward on a "S.H.I.E.L.D." pilot based, at least tangentially, within the Marvel cinematic universe, one of the big questions as been about the involvement of Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury.
In an interview with MTV this week, Jackson gave a strong indication that he'd be willing to be a part of the show, which will film its pilot in January and will then wait til upfronts in May to find out if it has a place on ABC's fall schedule.
"I keep hearing about it, and I haven't talked to Joss about it," the actor told MTV News. "But in my mind, I would tend to think that he would, if nothing else, be like Charlie in 'Charlie's Angels.' At least be the voice!"
Jackson, who can next be seen in "Django Unchained," will return as Nick Fury in "Captain America: Winter Soldier."
