'Modern Family' lands Greg Kinnear
"Modern Family" has landed Oscar and Emmy nominee (and Daytime Emmy winner) Greg Kinnear to do a rare TV guest appearance.
According to EW.com, Kinnear will play Tad, a real estate broker tied to the career decision Phil Dunphy was contemplating at the end of the last episode.
The report only says that Kinnear's episode will appear sometime next year and doesn't mention if it could become a multi-episode run.
Kinnear, who earned an Emmy nod earlier this year for "The Kennedys," last did an episodic guest role in 2003 on "Friends."
