Very few fans of "The X Factor" actually want Khloe Kardashian back as host, but now there's some disagreement as to whether or not Simon Cowell does.

Early in the week, The NY Post reported that "The X Factor" had decided to move forward without Kardashian as host. The paper claims that Mario Lopez will be retained.

Days later, though, Kim Kardashian told TMZ that Khloe had not, in fact, been fired and that no decision had been made.

"The X Factor" already needs to replace departed judge/mentors Britney Spears and L.A. Reid after a low-rated second season.
