'Hawaii Five-0' lets viewers choose their own adventure
In what CBS is calling a TV first, "Hawaii Five-0" announced this week that the show's Monday, January 14 episode will feature a pair of choose-your-own-adventure endings decided by fans.
For both the East Coast and West Coast airings of the 10 p.m. drama, fans will get to vote on which of three suspects was responsible for the death of an O'ahu State University professor. By voting on CBS.com or tweeting #TheBoss, #TheTA or #TheStudent, fans will determine which of three endings will air. [All three endings will be on CBS.com after the broadcast.] "I've always felt the most fun aspect of watching a mystery is trying to figure out ‘whodunit,'" blurbs Executive Producer Peter Lenkov. "Now the 'Hawaii Five-0' viewers will actually get the chance to tell us who they think committed the crime and we will listen. I love that our dedicated and attentive fans will actually play a part in resolving our story."
