'Nikita' returns to its old Friday time period
The CW announced this week that "Nikita" is going to get a new time period, specifically it's most recent old time period.
After airing at 9 p.m. on Fridays this fall and failing to get the desired bump from "America's Next Top Model," "Nikita" will shift back to 8 p.m. on Fridays starting on November 30.
"ANTM" will wrap its current season on November 16 and repeats of "Arrow" will move into the 9 p.m. slot after "Nikita," which has struggled all season against "Fringe" and "Grimm," among other genre programs.
It remains to be seen if The CW will give the 9 p.m. slot to a new show -- "Cult" is the only contender -- in the spring, when no "Top Model" season is scheduled.
Stay tuned.
