Production on FOX's "Fringe" has been put on hold for two weeks due to star John Noble's illness.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Noble is being treated for "a sleep disorder," which also caused him to miss FOX's Television Critics Association press tour panel earlier this week.

The trade says that production will be down for nine days, through August 7 and that a variety of other illnesses and Jasika Nicole's car accident also contributed to production complications.

"Fringe" is still expected to start its fifth season on FOX on Friday, September 28.
