"Step Up" star (and wife of fellow "Step Up" star Channing Tatum) Jenna Dewan has joined the cast of the second season of FX's "American Horror Story."

According to EW.com, Dewan will play a "pivotal role" romancing Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

The second season of "AHS," fresh off 17 Emmy nominations for its first "miniseries," will feature Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Chloe Sevigny and Lizzie Brochere.

Dewan was most recently seen on the small screen in NBC's short-lived "The Playboy Club."
