'Man of Steel' trailer confirmed before 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'
"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder revealed this past week that the return of Superman will receive a new preview in front of next month's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
"It's fun. I can't wait for 'The Hobbit,' so it will be fun to see our crazy 'Man of Steel' trailer and then enjoy the Hobbit because that's going to be great," Snyder told MTV. "It just feels like a fun Christmas thing to do, drag the whole family out for that action."
"Steel" is a reboot of the classic DC Comics superhero and stars Henry Cavill as the title character, Michael Shannon as Zor-El and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. While Snyder directed, the film's screenplay is based on a story by David S. Goeyer and Christopher Nolan. The later also produced the expected Warner Bros. blockbuster.
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" opens nationwide in 3D and in IMAX on Dec. 14. "Man of Steel" opens in the same formats on June 14, 2013.
