Dave Grohl's "Sound City" documentary gets February release
This week, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl firmed up his appearance and the premiere of his documentary "Sound City" at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
For those who can't make it to Park City, relief is on the way: the movie is getting a DVD release on Feb. 1 worldwide. A digital copy of the studio-focused film is already up for pre-sale for $10.
Considering acts like Tom Petty, Trent Reznor, Rick Rubin and more have confirmed cameos, and one-off recordings were made during shooting, don't think that a soundtrack to the film isn't far behind. Even just a tracklist will suffice, Dave.
Sundance runs Jan. 17-27.
