Boston Marathon tragedy causes 'Revolution,' 'Castle' shuffles
Even after Monday's tragic events in Boston, most primetime programming went on as scheduled, but NBC pulled "Revolution" and replaced it with a news special.
The decision to delay the episode had much to do with a plotline involving an attempt by the main characters to secure a nuclear bomb and it will push back the remainder of the "Revolution" schedule well past the end of the Nielsen TV season.
The April 15 "Revolution" will now air on April 22 and subsequent episodes will ripple forward from there. The "Revolution" finale will now air on Monday, June 3.
One of the only other primetime programming shifts because of the Boston bombings is ABC's "Castle." The show's April 22 episode, "Still," has a bomb-related subplot and will now air on April 29. The April 29 episode "The Squab and the Quail" will now air on April 22.
In addition, NBC announced on Friday that an episode of "Hannibal" will be skipped out of sensitivity.
