E! cancels that Whitney Cummings show you aren't watching, but NBC doesn't
The Whitney Cummings Empire has begun to contract.
According to a variety of media reports, E! has ended production on "Love You, Mean It," the comic's Chelsea Handler-produced talk show.
"Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings" premiered in November and was given only a tentative six-episode extension. It will end its run having aired 12 episodes.
Don't cry for Cummings, of course. She still has her NBC comedy "Whitney," which is limping along in its low-rated second season and even though she may not have much direct involvement with CBS' "2 Broke Girls," that sucker is a cash cow.
