'Damages' final season will premiere on DirecTV in July
DirecTV has set a premiere date for the fifth and final season of the Emmy-winning drama "Damages."
The transplanted FX drama will return on Wednesday, July 11 at 9 p.m. on DirecTV's Audience Network.
In addition to Emmy winner Glenn Close and Emmy nominee Rose Byrne, the fifth season of "Damages" will include the usual assortment of high-profile new faces, led by new cast regular Ryan Phillippe. Also dropping by this season are Janet McTeer, John Hannah, Chris Messina, Judd Hirsch, M. Emmett Walsh, Victor Garber, William Sadler, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Gillian Alexy, and Zachary Booth.
The fifth "Damages" season will deal with government and corporate transparency. Whee!
