The CW promises that "all will be revealed" when "Gossip Girl" finishes its six-season run this December.

The network announced this week that "Gossip Girl" will get a two-hour finale on Monday, December 17. The finale will include a look back at series highlights and will also feature a sneak peek at "The Carrie Diaries," a different New York set drama from executive producer Josh Schwartz. So it won't really be a two-hour finale at all? It will be a clip show and then a one-hour finale? Possibly.

The CW has already slatted "The Carrie Diaries," the "Sex and the City" prequel starring AnnaSophia Robb, for a January premiere in the Monday 9 p.m. time slot.
