Almost certainly not. But what the heck? That's no reason not to spread rumors.

 

According to Deadline, Sony Pictures TV has has "conversations" with Amazon about picking up the 1960s flight attendant drama. And of course they are. That's what production studios do when networks cancel their shows. Otherwise they lose money. It didn't used to be news when somebody at the studio picked up the phone and made a call, but now it is.

 

The story acknowledges that Amazon recent announced that its focus would be on comedy and children's programming and that "Pan Am" isn't a comedy or children's programming. But again... Why bring facts into the discussion?

 

So yeah. "Pan Am" could be back! But it probably won't be.
