Eddie Izzard chews on a 'Hannibal' guest role
Viewers may not get to see any more of Eddie Izzard and Bryan Fuller's work on "Mockingbird Lane," but the pair are reuniting on a different NBC project.
According to EW.com, Izzard will do a guest turn on Fuller's "Red Dragon"/"Silence of the Lambs" prequel "Hannibal."
Izzard will play an inmate at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. And yes, that should sound familiar to fans of the Thomas Harris Hannibal Lecter series.
NBC has yet to set a premiere date for "Hannibal."
The network burnt off the pilot for Fuller and Izzard's "Munsters" reboot last month, drawing probably-not-good-enough ratings in a special Friday airing.
