Cameron Crowe's latest makes Christmas Day busy
Last week Sony Pictures finally dated Cameron Crowe's latest Untitled Film and they picked a doozy, Dec. 25. Much can change over the next 10 months, but the Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams dramedy is currently facing "Into the Woods," Angelina Jolie's Oscar bait "Unbroken" and, hold yourself back, "Hot Tub Time Machine 2." And that follows the debuts of "Annie," "Night at the Museum 3" and "The Hobbit: The Last One, er, There and Back Again" on Friday the 19th, just five days before. Crowe had some luck with the double (in box office terms) "We Bought A Zoo" in 2011, but unless this one is "Jerry Maguire"-esque, can he really tempt fate again during such a crowded frame?
And for those awards season watchers, who's excited about a third season of Bradley Cooper on the circuit? Anyone?
