Well aware of the long and neverending war of wars between "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" fans, Abrams was quoted as saying he originally turned down the "Episode VII" gig out of deference to the "Trek" fan base.  Et tu, brute?  (That's Shakespeare for those playing at home. Look it up.)  Has Abrams now betrayed Trekkers, er, Trekkies? Has he broken their hearts?  Or, can he bring the worlds of "Trek" and "Star Wars" together in a union of peace, love and understanding?
