10 movies we want to see at Comic-Con 2012
Will fans get a peek at 'Django Unchained,' 'Star Trek 2' and 'SkyFall'?
Potential talent: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Alfonso Cuaron
Why: Cuaron's space thriller is one of the most anticipated genre films of this year or next. Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are two of the biggest stars never to have set foot on Comic-Con's Hall H stage. It's unlikely the later would appear considering his supporting role, but Bullock's witty public charms would easily win over the audience all on her own. More importantly, "Gravity" is supposed to be the sort of 3D spectacle you want to tease in Hall H in 3D to this audience of national and international tastemakers. But - is there any finished footage from the CG heavy picture ready yet? Concerns over the edit of the film and finishing the 3D have forced Warner Bros. to bump "Gravity" from its original Nov. release date to a tentative March 2013 debut. Could those concerns prompt WB to hold off on showcasing the film? Almost a lock six months ago, current concerns could find "Gravity" sitting this one out.
