Why: Blomkamp launched his breakthrough hit, "District 9," at Comic-Con, and by the time Sony finished that first screening, they knew what they had. Considering this film has been made under a cloak of almost total secrecy, it would be exciting for Sony to finally offer up their first look at the film to a Comic-Con audience that will be waiting to embrace Blomkamp as a returning hero. The film is set for a March 2013 release, so this is their one shot at using Comic-Con to help with the film, and they've certainly got a cast that could get Hall H excited.
