10 most intriguing summer TV shows

BBC America would have a hard time picking a more intriguing project for its first non-import series: an 1860s New York cop drama created by Tom Fontana, the mind behind some of the most powerful, ground-breaking dramas of all time, including "St. Elsewhere" (which he didn't create, but which he did end in legendary fashion), "Homicide: Life on the Street" and "Oz," and produced by Fontana's Oscar-winning sometime partner Barry Levinson.
