Last summer gave us a season for the ages from writer/direct/star Louis C.K., with a mix of eclectic, surprising, often incredibly moving stories. "Louie" only occasionally seemed like a comedy last season, but what it gave us was so specific and so powerful that the joke ratio didn't much matter. I have no idea what's coming next from the show, and that's exactly how I like it.
