'You’ll be In My Heart' from 'Tarzan' (1999)
Why it didn't deserve the win: This sappy Phil Collins tune was the last of the syrupy songs from a Disney movie to win. Yes, it was sweet and made moms hug their babies (human and ape) closer, but it was time to move over for more contemporary, adventurous fare.
Better choice: “Save Me” (“Magnolia”)
