Pros: A new pet project for DC maestro Geoff Johns, Vibe is going to be introduced into DC's reboot universe as a member of the Justice League of America, a second Justice League team/title.  How similar the character will be to his original incarnation is unclear, but he was one of the first Hispanic characters in the DC universe.  His powers to emit strong shockwaves and traditionally younger age would also be a major differentiator to any character in the current Avengers.

Cons: Probably one of the biggest ethnic stereotypes in DC's history.  The original breakdancing Vibe (it was the '80s) embarrassed many Latinos in the comic book industry and the character became so disliked by fans he became the first active JL member to be killed in the line of duty. Can Johns really make Vibe cool to anyone?
