10 elements from the Superman mythos we'd like to see in a movie
Will we ever see Darkseid, Braniac or Bizarro on the big screen?
The alien warlord has been revamped several times in the comics (the most recent version is affiliated with the Sinestro Corps -- imagine that onscreen), but may still be a little too similar to the more-famous Darkseid to ever appear as a major villain onscreen. Our suggestion: adapt the classic story "For the Man Who Has Everything" -- penned by Alan Moore ("Watchmen," "V For Vendetta") -- which finds Mongul sending Superman into a coma-like trance, where he imagines a blissful alternate reality in which he lives with his wife and children on Krypton. The storyline indeed has everything we'd ever want to see in a Superman adaptation: A detailed look at both the Fortress of Solitude and an idealized Krypton, a knockdown-dragout fight between Supes and Mongul, and appearances from Batman and Wonder Woman.
