10 elements from the Superman mythos we'd like to see in a movie
Will we ever see Darkseid, Braniac or Bizarro on the big screen?
Lois & Clark get married
For decades, Lois Lane was trapped in an eternal, artificial love triangle with Clark Kent and Superman, at times having no idea they were the same man, at others making herself look like a fool in her attempts to prove that Clark had a blue costume under his suit. In the mid-'90s, though, the Superman creative team had Clark not only propose marriage to Lois, but tell her his secret. (The actual wedding took a few years to happen so it could synch up with the events of ABC's "Lois & Clark.") For so long, the belief had been that a function Lois/Clark relationship where she knew about his secret identity would ruin the title, but some of the best writing for both characters took place after they got engaged, and then married. The comics have since reset the status quo so that they're no longer dating, let alone married, but the infrequent nature of the movie series means the filmmakers wouldn't have to tell dozens upon hundreds of stories about Mr. & Mrs. Kent. And there's definitely enough material to fuel an entire movie or two with the right Lois and Clark.
