"Community" didn't invent the idea of a fake clip show, but Harmon and company may have perfected it with this dizzying installment that featured flashback after flashback to episodes we never saw (or, on occasion, to lost moments from episodes we did), and yet within that structure managed to tell a series of interlocking stories about Jeff and Britta becoming secret friends with benefits, Abed becoming obsessed with "The Cape," everyone growing tired of Dean Pelton's flamboyant costumes, and more.
