9) 'Odysseus And The Sirens'
Full confession: I’m a nut for “overjoyed Jason Sudeikis”. The late, great Lord Wyndemere sketches worked as well as they did not simply for Paul Brittain’s characterization but also the pure bliss that Sudeikis’ character exhibited around him. That sketch is gone, but that joy was present as Sudeki’s Odysseus tried to resists the sounds of…well, Lilith Fair, to be honest. (Why are the Sirens singing Lisa Loeb and Sheryl Crow? The correct answer is “Who cares?”) There’s little to this sketch, but hearing the ladies of “SNL” sing “No Scrubs” while Odysseus does the Running Man is my kind of funny.
