Sergio Leone capped his groundbreaking "Man With No Name" trilogy in high style with this epic Civil War-era adventure that's actually set before "A Fistful of Dollars" and "For a Few Dollars More." That it takes place before the two "Dollars" films is inconsequential. The film's importance lies in Leone's stellar directorial command, Ennio Morricone's justly famous score and the iconic performances by Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef. - DL
