Henry Pym (Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellowjacket)

Real Name: Henry "Hank" Pym

First Appearance: Tales to Astonish No. 27 (January, 1962)

Powers: Under a variety of names, size-shifting genius scientist Pym can decrease his mass to the size of an ant, or grow to the height of a 100 ft. giant. Pym can also transfer his size-changing abilities to other objects.

Hero or Villain: Pym is a flawed hero with a dark side that has alienated him from The Avengers -- and his wife Janet Van Dyne (The Wasp) -- several times.

Why: While in ant-sized mode, Pym could make the kind of blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo that fans love. An appearance could also mean Edgar Wright's solo movie might actually be getting off the ground.
