Rob and Amber, "Survivor"/"The Amazing Race"
In their initial "Survivor" runs, Amber Brkich and particularly Rob Mariano played interesting, but decidedly incomplete games, but once they coupled up, they displayed an impressive combination of physical resilience and social smarts. Many made the argument that Boston Rob carried Ambuh to the end and basically handed her the million bucks, but then he proposed at the finale and made the logistics moot. They've gone on to get married and had roughly a billion -- Four, if memory serves? -- kids, but as good as they were on "Survivor," it's possible they were even better on "Amazing Race," where they made a strong second place run in Season 7 and then kicked off the first "All-Stars" season with three straight Leg wins before bombing out spectacularly. Isn't it time to bring Romber back, Phil Keoghan? They're the Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward of reality showmances. - Daniel Fienberg
