Alex Karras
The rugged football player anchored the Detroit Lions' defense and then made a successful transition to an acting career with the '80s TV series "Webster" and in films like "Blazing Saddles," with a stint along the way as a commentator on "Monday Night Football." He died on Oct. 10 at age 77.
