1. 'Lawrence Of Arabia'
T.E. Lawrence is a fascinating historical figure, full of contradictions, and it is fitting that David Lean's epic masterpiece manages to be funny, thrilling, sad, political, and dynamic, a movie that puts to shame anything modern Hollywood can accomplish these days and which only seems richer and more rewarding each and every time I find it playing in 70MM in a theater, the only way to truly experience it.
