The Gallaghers are back and, after seeing four episodes, we can assure you that absolutely NOTHING has gotten better better for the hard-living family, which is exactly what fans were hoping for. In fact, if you've said to yourself, "How could Frank Gallagher POSSIBLY get worse after some of the stuff he pulled off last year?" We'll just reassure you that he keeps finding astounding new ways to lower the bar. William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum and the rest of the ensemble cast, which surely would have gotten Emmy [Awards, not Rossum] recognition by now if there were any justice in the world, return in fine form.
