From 'The Following' to 'Justified' to the end of 'Breaking Bad,' 2013 has lots in story
"Golden Boy" (CBS, February 26)
CBS doesn't have much luck when it comes to midseason dramas in recent years. Remember "Chaos"? Remember "NYC 22"? Remember the "Criminal Minds" spinoff? Maybe this'll be different. After all, we like creators Greg Berlanti and Nicholas Wootton and the premise -- an ambitious cop rises through the ranks to become the youngest NYC police commissioner in history -- sounds like "Jack & Bobby" meets "NYPD Blue." Throw in a strong cast that includes Theo "Mister Pamuk" James, Chi McBride, Kevin Alejandro and Holt McCallany and there's cause for some hope here.
