"Spartacus: War of the Damned" (Starz, January 25)
While not necessarily a HitFix Team Favorite, Starz' "Spartacus" remains the network's poster boy for ratings and critical success and it's coming to an end after its third (or fourth, depending on how you count) installment. Yes, we already know how this story is going to end. It's right there in the title, plus you may or may not have seen that movie with Kirk Douglas. Still, fans can expect plenty of CGI blood, carefully staged action and deliriously gratuitous sex along the way. Plus, there have been reports that Starz is contemplating a spinoff built around another doomed leader from that period, so keep an eye out for the introduction of Julius Caesar.
