Imagine Nas' hard rhymes meeting Damian "Junior Gong" Marley's reggae roots as inherited from his famous father, and what you get is Distant Relatives, a duo whose project is due within the next month (if we're lucky and it isn't pushed back again).

SXSW isn't exactly known for it's having a wide swath of hip-hop stars hitting its stages (remember, Kanye didn't play South-By, per say, last year: it was the Fader Fort instead) but the chance to have your face blistered off up-close-and-personal-style by Nas is not to be passed up.

UPDATE: "Distant Relatives" has been pushed back to May 18. So much for luck.
