9. '4 Minutes' (2008) by Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland
Co-produced by Timbaland, the tune features his signature heaviness, bolstered by a marching band’s brass section and even a fog horn. Though the dance track is allegedly about how we are destroying the earth, the message may have been lost due to the overwhelming emphasis on the production which features Timberlake and Madonna trading verses, their voices almost interchangeable in their levels and tone. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.
